Is this an ATS checker?
An ATS (applicant tracking system) is the software a company uses to collect and sort applications. There is no single ATS score: each system and each recruiter filters differently, and a tool that counts keywords can only guess. ActiveTwin checks what a recruiter reads: whether your career fits the job, and what your CV leaves out.
What a CV needs so an ATS can read it, and what the ATS-safe templates do:
- Text that can be selected and copied, not an image
- Standard headings: Experience, Education, Skills
- One column, in reading order

- Dates written the same way everywhere
- Contact details in the body, not in the page header

Is the CV checker free?
Yes, on the Free plan, with no card: the CV import, the CV checks, about eight scored jobs a month and one profile review. Tailoring a CV to a job is on the paid plans, which are monthly and can be cancelled any time.
Is a CV the same as a resume?
For a job application, yes. In the UK and Europe it is called a CV, in the US a resume. You can import either, and ActiveTwin calls it a CV.
Does it give me an ATS score?
No. Each company's applicant tracking system and each recruiter filter differently, so a single ATS score can only guess. ActiveTwin scores what decides the next step: how your career fits the job and what your CV leaves out. The CV templates are built so an ATS can read them.
Will a better score get me more interviews?
Nothing can promise that. The score shows how your career fits a job and what's missing, so you can choose where to apply and what to change.
Which files can I import?
PDF and Word (.docx) files. You check what was read before anything is saved to your career library.
What happens to my CV?
Your career facts are stored in the EU and never used to train AI. ActiveTwin never applies or speaks for you, and you can take your data with you or delete it at any time.
